I am a foreign correspondent and journalist based in South Africa (Cape Town), and I am currently working for various magazines, newspapers, news agencies and online publications around the world (US, Europe, Africa, etc). Apart from being a freelance journalist and reporter, I'm a photographer too.
I have been a radio journalist for 3 years currently associated with state run radio in its news and current affairs section. Earlier I worked in a news agency and an NGO as media officer. I have also been a freelance translator ( English Urdu, Pakistani Punjabi) for over 5 years)
I started my journey as a national daily. In just two years, I was appointed as a staff reporter for another magazine. Two years later, I was appointed as a sub-editor in the newspaper.
Later, we got an opportunity to work as a news editor for an online paper.
